Mubasher: The UK-based C & C Alpha Group has revealed plans to expand in the hotel sector in Saudi Arabia and the UAE over the coming period.

The potential projects in the two gulf nations are a major part of the group’s expansion plans to boost its hotel brand ‘Ananda’, Bhanu Choudhrie,  director at London-based C&C Alpha Group, told Arabian Business.

“I feel there is a market for holistic wellness hotels in Saudi Arabia. We feel this would be the right way to enter the market. Young Emiratis and Saudis are very into their health and really enjoy learning about it,” Choudhrie added.

There will be a “big growth” in the tourism sector in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Choudhrie expects, citing that the group is exploring investment opportunities.

C & C Alpha Group is also looking to ramp up its footprint in Saudi Arabia’s water desalination operations.

Founded by the Choudhrie family, one of the wealthiest families in India, C&C Alpha Group is a London-based private equity firm that invests in sectors including healthcare, aviation and hospitality.
