Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt’s board of directors has approved a cash dividend distribution of EGP 0.25 per share to shareholders for fiscal year ended 31 December 2018.

The dividend proposal has been reviewed by the ordinary general assembly, the telecom company said in a statement on Wednesday.

In February, Telecom Egypt reported an EGP 3.5 billion in its consolidated profits for 2018, rising 14% year-on-year on the back of revenue growth.

Moreover, the company’s board previously proposed a cash dividend of EGP 0.25 per share for 2018.
