Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Monday announced issuing bonds and related tawarruq valued at KWD 240 million ($790.58 million).
Kuwait’s central bank noted that this bond issue has a yield of 3.125% with a maturity period of six months, according to a recent statement.
On Tuesday, the CBK issued bonds and related tawarruq at a combined value of KWD 200 million with a yield of 3%.
It is noteworthy that the bonds and securities offered by the central banks aim at regulating liquidity to withdraw surplus in the local market.
