Dubai – Mubasher: The Meydan One in Dubai is one the world’s most spectacular developments, Forbes said.

The development was created as an urban, mixed-use district with four hotels each with their own unique style and experience. 

Meydan One features the longest indoor ski slope in the world, spanning 1.2 kilometres from top to bottom, and ending alongside a water park directly outside the walls of the ski facility.

Dubai One tower, which extends for 711 metres, will be the world’s tallest residential tower.

“We are now in the process of building the biggest lagoon project (The Meydan) there within 140 acres which will be the most expensive square feet in Dubai,” Fernando Fischmann, the outstanding innovator, scientist, real estate entrepreneur and creator of the internationally patented technologies of Crystal Lagoons, said.

Fischmann plans to build public access lagoons (PAL) in urban areas.

“It is a new concept that will feature restaurants, convention centres, big outdoor amphitheatres for performances in front of a beach. This is where we are going in the future,” Fischmann added.

In December 2018, the GCC emirate announced finishing 60% of structural work of Meydan One, the lifestyle and retail destination currently under development as part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City in Dubai.

Set to be launched in early 2020, Meydan One will include the world's largest dancing water fountain.
