Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government has signed an agreement with Euroclear Bank to list Egypt’s debt instruments in the bank at local currency.

Both parties will take the preliminary steps required to register Egyptian debt instruments in the bank, Egypt’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) said.

The agreement is aimed at offering Egyptian debt instruments to a bigger segment of foreign investors, especially central banks, the ministry added.
