Mubasher: Bahrain will host “Business Development Forum & Expo (BDFEX-2019) for the Downstream Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals Industry” on 24 April.

Set to wrap up on 25 April, the first-of-its-kind event aims to attract regional and global corporations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, and businessmen to boost and expand their businesses, according to a press release on Sunday.

The two-day event comes in line with key development in the GCC nation’s oil and gas sector, Khaled Jasim Bomtaia, PROACT International Consultancy’s CEO, said.

BDFEX-2019 is organised by Bahraini PROACT International Consultancy and Saudi Arabia-based United Gulf Industrial Consortia for Investment Management and Consultation at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Manama, Bahrain.

“BDFEX comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is witnessing an accelerated and unprecedented pace of progress and development, especially with the launch of the National Industry Development and Logistics Programme as one of the most important programmes of the "Vision 2030",” said Mohammed Al Khaldi, CEO of the Gulf Investment and Consulting Department of United Gulf Industrial Consorita Al-jubail Industrial City.
