Saudi housing minister launches Al Jawhara project in Jeddah
The new project provides 7,200 housing units

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s minister of housing Majid Al-Hogail has launched Al Jawhara residential project in the northern area of Jeddah near King Abdullah Sports City, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Spanning over 2 million square metres, the new project provides 7,200 housing units, increasing the total number of residential units in Jeddah to more than 50,000 units.

The number of beneficiaries of Sakani programme reached 14,232 families in March and totalled 40,237 families spread across all regions in the kingdom since the beginning of 2019.

The ministry did not provide further details on the investment cost and timetable of the project.
