Mubasher: Ahli United Bank (AUB) has reported a 10.4% year-on-year profit increase in the first quarter of 2019, recording BHD 72.7 million ($192.8 million).

Operating income rose 6.6% to $311.9 million in Q1-19 versus $292.6 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Thursday.

In 2018, the Bahrain and Kuwait-listed bank achieved an increase of 12.7% in net profits attributed to shareholders during the fiscal year 2018 compared to the prior year.
