TASI sheds 41 pts; Nomu rises at Thursday’s close
TASI’s liquidity retreated to SAR 2.87 billion on Thursday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended a three-session winning streak on Thursday after dropping 41.52 points, or 0.45%, to close at 9,196.53 points.

TASI’s liquidity retreated to SAR 2.87 billion on Thursday, compared to SAR 4.8 billion in the previous session, while the market’s traded volume fell to 106.73 million shares from 166.56 million on Wednesday.

The consumer services sector was the top decliner with 1.4%, while the basic materials and banking sectors tumbled 0.69% and 0.64%, respectively.

On the other hand, the insurance sector led risers and added 0.6%, followed by the telecommunications sector which grew 0.36%.

The stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons headed fallers after sliding 2.6%, whereas the Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock topped gainers and advanced 4.67%.

Al Rajhi Bank’s stock led TASI in terms of turnover with SAR 322 million, while Alinma Bank’s stock registered the highest trading volume of 9.58 million shares.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 6.86 points, or 0.19%, to finish the last session of the week at 3,695.81 points.

Development Works Food’s stock was Nomu’s best performer with 1.94%, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer after dropping 1.46%.
