Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait Securities Company has elected a new board for the coming three years.
Hamad Meshary Al Humaidhi was named as the new chairman, and Ahmed Altheneyan would be the company’s deputy chairman, according to a statement on Sunday.
The firm also said it will ditch existing orders in the automatic trading system on 28 April as part of implementing the first part of the third phase for upgrading the market.
Earlier on Sunday, Boursa Kuwait Securities said it would hold an ordinary general meeting (OGM) to consider the company’s financial statements for the period ended on 31 March 2019 and elect a new board after the privatisation of a 44% stake.
