Mubasher: Aayan Real Estate’s shareholders approved the board’s proposal for distributing KWD 2.04 million at 5 fils per share as cash dividends for the full fiscal year 2018 in a meeting held on Thursday.

Distributions, which represent 5% of the company’s capital, will be eligible for shareholders registered in the firm’s registries on the eligibility date, 20 May, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

Dividends will be distributed as of 30 May.

Aayan’s shareholders also elected new board members for the coming three years.

In 2018, the real estate company turned profitable after posting a profit of KWD 5.94 million, against KWD 8.08 million in losses in the previous year.
