Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Telecom Co (STC) on Sunday announced reshuffling its executive management team, giving priority to Saudis and women, according to a statement.

The state-run telecommunications firm appointed Riyadh Saeed Muawad as enterprise senior vice president and Yasser Al Suwailem as vice president of cybersecurity.

Muawad held several leading positions including the vice president of sales for government and corporate, board member of Kuwait Telecommunication Co. (VIVA), as well as regional manager of CISCO Saudi Arabia.

As for the newly-appointed vice president of cybersecurity, Al Suwailem was the cybersecurity manager at Dell and head of internal audit at Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily).

The telecom operator also named Abdulaziz Al Haidar as vice president of sales for government and corporates, Sultan bin Saeed as vice president of enterprise development, and Maha Al Nuhait as the head of STC’s sustainability programme in strategic and executive affairs.

It is worth noting that STC previously announced that its subsidiary, STC Sukuk Company Limited, has completed the offering of its first international US dollar-denominated sukuk worth $1.25 billion (SAR 4.7 billion).
