Cairo – Mubasher: Delta Insurance has recorded a net profit of EGP 93.98 million for the first nine months of FY18/19, up 41.5% year-on-year from EGP 66.4 million.

Revenue rose to EGP 453.49 million at the end of March, compared to EGP 366.28 million in the prior-year period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The increase in the interim profits was mainly driven by improvements in insurance results and an increase in net income from investments, according to the statement.

Delta Insurance previously reports a net profit of EGP 30.3 million in the July-September period of 2018, versus EGP 15.27 million in the corresponding period of 2017, including minority shareholders’ rights.
