Mubasher: Oil futures ended higher on Thursday, as tensions continue in the Middle East.

June Nymex WTI rose $0.85, or 1.4%, to close at $62.87 per barrel. 

Yesterday, Reuters reported that helicopters carried US staff from the American embassy in Baghdad over concerns regarding perceived threats from Iran, which US sources believe encouraged attacks on four oil tankers in the Arabian Gulf.
