Mubasher: Huawei Consumer Business announced that Saudi Arabia will be the first country in which the telecom company will launch the much-anticipated latest edition of the Y series, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 contains no notch, slider, or hole, while the screen is simply a smooth and unobstructed glass surface that offers a futuristic feel and wholly immersive viewing experience.

Huawei’s latest edition of the Y series brings to the consumer the new Auto pop-up camera which was developed as Huawei engineers took inspiration from the floating roof design seen in certain cars, most famously, the Mini Cooper.

“During daily usage, the front camera is completely invisible, hidden within the body. When the user switches to the front camera in the interface, it is automatically activated, and raises within a second,” according to a recent press release.

Users can now buy the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in Saudi Arabia at several authorised retailers and through the Huawei E-shop for a price of SAR 969.

“The recently upgraded AI backlight imaging technology removes concerns about lighting when taking selfies,” the press release added.

Last week, Google announced that it suspended businesses with Huawei after the US included Huawei to a trade blacklist.

Founder and CEO of Huawei Ren Zhengfei told Chinese state newspaper China Daily that his company is ready to deal with the US ban and the 90-day extension.
