Cairo – Mubasher: Dice Sport and Casual Wear (Dice) reported a 1.2% year-on-year drop in its standalone profits for the first quarter of 2019.

Dice’s net profits stood at EGP 21.91 million in Q1-19, compared to EGP 22.18 million in Q1-18, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, sales increased to EGP 287.42 million by the end of March, versus EGP 267.53 million in the same period of the prior year.

In 2018, the company achieved a net profit worth EGP 160 million, against EGP 178.4 million a year earlier.
