Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound fell by about 3 piasters at eight banks during Monday’s mid-trades.

The USD declined by EGP 0.02 to EGP 16.73 for buying and EGP 16.81 for selling at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, Egypt’s two largest state-run lenders.

Similarly, the USD slid by EGP 0.02 to EGP 16.7 for purchasing and EGP 16.8 for selling at Bank of Alexandria, the United Bank, and Housing and Development Bank (HDB).

Furthermore, the USD went down EGP 0.03 to EGP 16.7 for buying and EGP 16.8 for selling at Suez Canal Bank.

Meanwhile, the USD has stabilised at Commercial International Bank (CIB) at EGP 16.7 for purchasing and EGP 16.8 for selling.

Likewise, the USD has been steady at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) at EGP 16.8 for buying and EGP 16.85 for selling.
