Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's foreign reserves jumped by $57 million in May on a monthly basis, data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed.
Foreign reserves stood at $44.275 billion at the end of May, versus $44.218 billion in April, according to the CBE.
The state’s international reserves increased by around $106 million in April, reaching $44.218 billion from $44.112 billion in March, the CBE previously announced.
Prior to the 25th January revolution in 2011, Egypt’s foreign-currency reserves amounted to around $36 billion.
