Saudi Arabia exports down to SAR 86bn in April – GaStat
Oil exports of Saudi Arabia valued at SAR 69.337 billion in April 2019

Riyadh – Mubasher: The recent report by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) showed that total merchandise exports of the kingdom stood at SAR 86.96 billion during April 2019 compared to SAR 89.65 billion in the same month a year ago.

Total exports in April decreases by 3% or SAR 2.68 billion when compared to the same month in 2018.

Meanwhile, exports in April were 1% higher than those registered in March 2019, a month-on-month increase of SAR 843 million.

“Oil exports of Saudi Arabia valued at SAR 69.337 billion in April 2019 compared to SAR 68.777 billion in April 2018, corresponding to an increase of SAR 560 million or 0.8% over that period,” GaStat said.

It added: “The share of oil exports in total merchandise exports also increased from 76.7% in April 2018 to 79.7% in April 2019. Compared to the previous month (March 2019), the value of oil exports increased by SAR 3.189 billion or 4.8% in April 2019.”
