Dubai – Mubasher: Drake & Scull International (DSI) on Monday announced its board of directors approved to appoint Shafiq Abdelhamid as the company’s new chairman, replacing the resigned chairman.

Upon this decision, all necessary powers will be handed over to Abdelhamid in order to represent the company in accordance with the UAE companies law, DSI added in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

The board also agreed to hire Abdallah Al Matrooshi as a member to the audit committee, instead of the resigned member.

In May, DSI, the regional provider of engineering and construction services, appointed two new board members; Fahem Alshehhi and Salem Alshamsi to replace the resigned members Obeid bin Touq and Khamis Buamim.
