TASI up, Nomu down late Tuesday
The utilities sector topped the risers adding 1.23%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a positive performance for the second session in a raw.

TASI inched up by 24.80 points, or 0.28%, to finish the session at 9,000.43 points.

TASI’s turnover shrank to SAR 5.34 billion on Tuesday, compared to SAR 5.56 billion on Monday, while the market’s traded volume decreased to 204.7 million shares from 218.8 million the session before.

The utilities sector topped the risers adding 1.23%, followed by the materials and banking sectors with 0.39% and 0.36%, respectively.

On the negative side, the media sector headed the decliners falling 1.26%, followed by the telecommunication sector with 0.55%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, went down 4.33 points, or 0.12%, ending the session at 3,573.11 points.

Raydan Company’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 1.41%, while Al Omran Industrial Trading Company’s stock was Nomu’s best performer after rising by 8.57%.
