DWC came 19th internationally
UAE – Mubasher: The national aviation sector’s contribution to the UAE’s GDP is expected to reach AED 323.6 billion ($88.1 billion) by 2030, the Airport Council International (ACI) said, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport ranked 19th internationally on the basis of freight handling, ACI revealed.
Upon its completion, the facility is expected to be the world largest airport, with 160 annual passenger capacity.
Moreover, Abu Dhabi International Airport was ranked by the ACI as the best airport operator of the year, WAM reported.
