Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended the week in the red territory, as the market capitalisation declined by 2.35%.
The general index went down 244.19 points, or 2.28%, to 10,444.48 points in a week.
Market cap retreated to QAR 576.21 billion ($159.83 billion) this week, compared to QAR 590.07 billion ($163.67 billion) a week earlier.
Over the week, the insurance, banking, and industrial sectors lost 3.54%, 3.02%, and 2.38%, respectively. The telecom, goods, and real estate sectors levelled down 1.56%, 1.4%, and 0.29%, respectively.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 255.21 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit QAR 1.25 billion.
