Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties announced it has signed a five-year agreement with the Saudi Al Hilal Club.

Upon the agreement, Emaar will be the strategic partner of Al Hilal Club for five years as of the next sports season, according to a press release.

The strategic partnership was signed by chairman of Emaar Mohamed Alabbar and president of Al Hilal Club Fahad bin Saad bin Nafal last Thursday.

Under this partnership, Emaar has the right to use its logo commercially on the Al Hilal Club team jerseys.

Commenting on the partnership, Mohamed Alabbar said: “Our partnership with Al Hilal, one of the largest clubs in Asia, highlights our keenness to support sporting organisations that add to the pride of the nation.”

“We see incredible value in our partnership with Al Hilal that will strengthen our brand value among a large cross-section of people. Al Hilal’s outstanding popularity, high standards of professionalism and continuous achievements have been central in our decision to signing this partnership,” he added.

In May, Emaar Properties revealed it had logged a net profit of AED 1.742 billion in the first quarter of 2019, compared to AED 1.62 billion in Q1-18.

The Dubai-based property developer had also achieved total revenue of AED 5.89 billion in Q1-19.
