Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday in red territory, dragged down by declining blue chips.
The DFM’s general index lost 12.88 points, or 48%, to finish the session at 2,666.04 points.
The banks fell 0.38% as Dubai Islamic Bank went down by 0.39%, and the consumer goods and the investment sectors dipped 0.85% and 0.07%, respectively.
The real estate sector also tumbled by 1.19% when Emaar slid 1.33%.
Trading volume reached 139.483 million shares on Wednesday exchanged at a turnover of AED 165.807 million.
