Cairo – Mubasher: Commercial International Bank (CIB) announced to be the only representative of Egypt’s private sector to be selected as a member of the Digital Economy Task Force (DETF). 

The DETF, a joint venture between the African Union and the European Union (EU), aims to achieve integration and cooperation among African countries, the bank said in a statement.

With the DETF, CIB plans to work on “providing universal access to affordable broadband, guaranteeing essential digital skills to all citizens, boosting digitally enabled entrepreneurship, and optimising its digital economy to achieve its sustainable development goals,” the statement added.
