Cairo – Mubasher: Export Development Bank of Egypt’s (EBE) loan portfolio is expected to reach EGP 27 billion in fiscal year 2018/2019, the lender’s deputy chairman Ahmed Galal told Mubasher. 

In addition, the Egyptian bank’s deposit portfolio is likely to stand at EGP 38 billion in FY18/19, Galal added. 

Moreover, EBE is also forecast to achieve profits of more than EGP 1 billion in the 12-month period ended 30 June, he revealed

From July to March, the Egyptian lender’s net profits recorded EGP 879.9 million, compared to EGP 560.41 million in the year-ago period.

In FY19/20, the bank plans to achieve a profit of EGP 1.065 billion.
