Cairo – Mubasher: Nile Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (Nile Pharma) announced turning into profits during fiscal year 2018/2019, according to the company's initial financial indicators. 

The pharmaceuticals company logged a net profit of EGP 21.8 million in the 12-month period ended 30 June, against a loss of EGP 16.6 million in FY17/18, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

During the first 11 months of FY18/19, the company reported a net profit of EGP 19.5 million, versus a loss of EGP 5 million in the year-ago period
