Mubasher: Tijara and Real Estate Investment reported a year-on-year decrease of 23.5% in profits during the second quarter of 2019.

Profits amounted to nearly KWD 263,600 ($868,410) in Q2-19, compared to around KWD 344,600 ($1.14 million) in Q2-18, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

During the first half of 2019, Tijara registered a decrease of 2.2% in profits to approximately KWD 539,630 from nearly KWD 551,950 in the same half a year ago.

It is worth noting that during the first quarter this year, Tijara achieved an increase of 33.1% in profits to around KWD 276,030 from approximately KWD 207,350 in the same period in 2018.
