Saudi indices end Tuesday’s trade in red
The energy sector topped the losers falling 3.42%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session with negative performance, for the fourth session in a row, pressured by the fall of leading sectors.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased by 1.25%, or 111.4 points, ending the session at 8,795.06 points.

TASI’s turnover decreased to SAR 2.47 billion on Tuesday, from SAR 2.58 billion on Monday, while trading volume went down to 87.87 million shares, compared to 96 million shares in the previous session.

The energy sector topped the losers falling 3.42%, followed by the utilities sector with 3.05%.

Similarly, the material sector plunged by 1.63%, while the telecommunication and banking sectors retreated by 1.57% and 1.08%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media sector headed the gainers adding 0.63%, while the retailing sector inched up by 0.08%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went down 0.37%, or 14.34 points, reaching 3,815.14 points.
