Mubasher: Kuwait Resorts posted a decrease of 2.3% in profits during the second quarter of 2019 when compared to the same period last year.

The profits shrank to KWD 507,000 ($1.67 million) in Q2-19 from KWD 519,000 ($1.71 million) in Q2-18.

During the first half of 2019, Kuwait Resorts posted a growth of 1.9% in profits to KWD 1.07 million, compared to KWD 1.05 million in H1-18, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

It is noteworthy that during the first quarter of 2019, the company achieved a 5.3% year-on-year increase in profits to around KWD 563,280 from nearly KWD 534,930.
