Cairo – Mubasher: CI Capital Holding reported a 38.6% year-on-year profit increase during the first half of 2019, according to the company's consolidated financial results.
Net profits registered EGP 235.24 million in the January-June period of 2019, compared to EGP 169.67 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
Revenues rose to EGP 1.09 billion in H1-19, compared to EGP 805.7 million in H1-18.
As for standalone business, the company’s profit hiked to EGP 84.03 million in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 27.71 million in the prior-year period.
During the second quarter of 2019, CI Capital Holding’s net profits surged to EGP 112.28 million from EGP 76.31 million in the year-ago period.
In Q1-19, the company’s net profits surged by 41.3% year-on-year, logging EGP 130.27 million from EGP 92.18 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
Revenues grew to EGP 694.88 million in the three-month period ended 31 March from EGP 522.99 million in Q1-18.
At the level of standalone business, the company logged a profit of EGP 70.34 million in Q1-19, compared to EGP 12.84 million in the prior-year period.
