Riyadh – Mubasher: Jazan Energy and Development Company (Jazadco) turned to loss during the second quarter of 2019, recording SAR 1.77 million.

The company attributed its loss to the increase in the cost of sales and the growth in general and administrative expenses, according to a bourse statement released on Thursday.

In the first six months of 2019, Jazdaco incurred SAR 7 million loss, compared to a loss of SAR 658,227 a year earlier.

Jazadco reported a 38.6% year-on-year loss increase during the first quarter of 2019, recording SAR 5.24 million.
