UAE – Mubasher: The UAE’s Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that Saturday, 1 Muharram or 31 August 2019, will be an official holiday in celebration of the new Hijri year 1441 AH.

It is worth noting that FAHR previously said that Eid Al Adha holiday would start on 9 Dhu Al Hijjah and end on 12 Dhu Al Hijjah 1440.
