Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, for the second session in a row, encouraged by the growth of 12 sectors.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.28%, or 23.96 points, ending the session at 8,589.75 points.

TASI’s turnover decreased to SAR 2.91 billion on Tuesday, from SAR 3.44 billion on Tuesday, while trading volume levelled down to 117.84 million shares, compared to 118.62 million shares in the previous session.

The media sector topped the gainers adding 1.6%, followed by the utilities with 1.5%.

On the negative side, the pharma sector headed the decliners falling 1.96%, followed by the transportation sector with 0.45%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, jumped by 0.46%, or 18.32 points, finishing the session at 4,000.20 points.
