ADX snaps two-session losing streak on Thursday
The ADX’s general index inched down 1.03 points

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The declining blue-chip stocks have weighed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Thursday.

The ADX’s general index inched down 1.03 points, or 0.03% to 5,038.99 points.

Trading volume amounted to 63.484 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 189.936 million through 2,035 transactions.

The exchange’s market capitalisation shed AED 135 million and closed the session at AED 514.152 billion.

The real estate sector was the sole decliner with 1.64%, while the telecommunication sector remained stable.

Meanwhile, the banks and the energy sectors added 0.15% and 0.08%, respectively.

Aldar Properties was the most heavily traded stock with a turnover of AED 41.813 million and a trading volume of 18.877 million shares.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s (ADIB) stock fell by 0.73% to AED 8.20, while Dana Gas and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) levelled up 0.30% to AED 0.98 and 0.27% to AED 15.02, respectively.
