Saudi market ends Thursday’s session down

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading session in red territory, for the second session in a row, pushed by the fall of many sectors.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.74%, or 63.27 points, ending the session at 8,445.66 points.

TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 6.8 billion on Thursday, from SAR 2.57 billion on Wednesday, while trading volume levelled up to 202.65 million shares, compared to 106.7 million shares in the previous session.

The telecommunication sector topped the decliners falling 2.85%, followed by the banking and materials sectors with 0.59% and 0.58%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, retreated by 1.81%, or 72.33 points, finishing the session at 3,915.22 points.
