Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait announced that trading on Jiyad Holding Co’s stock has been suspended starting 29 August 2019.

The trading halt is subject to the decision by Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Boursa Kuwait disclosed on Thursday.

The CMA may stop any stock from trading in case the listed securities fail to fulfill any of the obligations stipulated, according to the applicable laws and regulations, or in case a protection for market traders is sought, according to the disclosure.

It is worthwhile to mention that during the second quarter of 2019, Jiyad’s profits hiked by 131.9% to around KWD 420,030 when compared to about KWD 181,100 during Q2-18.
