Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note on the back of the rising blue-chip stocks.
The ADX’s general index went up 19.88 points, or 0.39%, to 5,095.75 points.
Trading volume amounted to 44.389 million shares and was exchanged through 1,511 transactions at a turnover of AED 157.701 million.
Market capitalisation gained AED 2.29 billion and closed the session at AED 522.859 billion.
The real estate sector increased by 1.79% and the banks sector added 0.36%.
Likewise, the energy and the telecommunication sectors levelled up by 0.24% and 0.12%, respectively.
Dana Gas was the most active stock by volume after seeing a traded volume of 5.563 million shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 38.342 million.
