Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), on Sunday announced it has appointed Johan Dennelind as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Johan will be EITC’s CEO in early 2020, replacing Osman Sultan who recently announced his decision to step down, according to a press release.

Mohamed Al Hussaini, EITC Chairman, commented: “I am delighted that this has resulted in the selection of Johan, who has earned a reputation for delivering results in challenging situations, inspired by his transformational leadership style and well-developed change management skills."

“We are confident that his extensive international exposure and experience of managing public companies, coupled with his ability to thrive in highly diverse environments, will add great value to EITC.”

It is worth noting that Johan has a 25-year of experience in the telecommunication and internet industry as he held senior roles at a number of leading companies such as Telia, Telenor, Digi, Vodafone, and Vodacom.

Commenting on his appointment, Johan Dennelind said: “I am very excited and honoured about the prospect of joining EITC at this important time in its development.
