Cairo – Mubasher: Six of October Development and Investment (SODIC) has launched its project ‘The Estates’, the first of a series of four new projects to be launched by the real estate developer in New Zayed.   

The new project will provide easy access to Cairo’s eastern neighbourhoods, North Coast, Sphinx airport, and the new Grand Egyptian Museum, according to a statement on Monday.

In August, SODIC’s fully-owned subsidiary, Al Yosr for Projects and Agricultural Development, received the New Urban Communities Authority's (NUCA) approval on the master plan of ‘The Estates’ project.

Situated 5 kilometres north of SODIC West, the new project will cover an area of 630,000 square metres, including 160,000 square metres of landscape and open spaces.

‘The Estates’ is expected to generate sales of more than EGP 7 billion over a period of eight years.
