Mubasher: Renault announced a new mobility consulting service to accelerate and support businesses to lower-carbon mobility and develop their recharging ecosystems, according to the auto giant’s official statement.

Renault consulting service will be based on tools to analyse a company’s real-life requirements, such as the suitability of electric propulsion for each vehicle.

This would enable Renault’s experts to recommend a suitable electrification level, ranging from full electrification to internal combustion, as well as other recharging solutions and the possibility of providing shared mobility services.

“Renault has ten years of expertise in electric mobility that we are putting to work for our business customers, assisting and accelerating the transformation of their fleets,” Renault’s international director Jacques Bousquet said.

Renault’s new service came as many companies push to cut their carbon emissions, and electrify their fleets, prompted by regulatory pressures, such as low emission zone and taxes, which impacted their business.
