Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait announced that trading on Danah Al Safat Foodstuff’s stock will be resumed on Wednesday, 9 October 2019.

The bourse’s decision to put the stock back for trading followed the completion of the firm’s capital cut procedures, according to a disclosure on Tuesday.

Earlier in October, Boursa Kuwait suspended the trading on the company’s stock from 2 October to 8 October.

In June, Danah Al Safat’s board submitted a recommendation to Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to reduce the firm’s capital by KWD 1.24 million, in addition to amortising the accumulated losses, and approving the CEO’s resignation.

In September, the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved to cut the capital by 10.19% to KWD 10.928 million from KWD 12.168 million.
