Riyadh – Mubasher: The leading Saudi Arabia-based telecommunications company Saudi Telecom Co (STC) signed a cooperation agreement with Badir Technology Incubators and Accelerators Program to support technology startup projects through innovative solutions.

STC Business provides small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a wide range of services including setting up infrastructure and providing technical services on a daily basis such as phone and internet connection as well as advanced services, including the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, cybersecurity solutions, and sales management, according to a statement.

For his part, the vice president of enterprise sales at STC, Mohammed Al Hakbani, stressed on the important role of SMEs, noting that this sector represents above 90% of the total number of enterprises in the world and contributes 50% to the gross domestic product (GDP).

Established in 2007 by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Badir Technology Incubators and Accelerators Program works on promoting the growth of technology startups through providing telecommunication services and digital solutions at special prices.
