UAE - Mubasher: The partnership between SonicWall and Etisalat Digital, the business unit of Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), has yielded a product which was included in Etisalat’s Business QuickStart broadband bundle provided for small and medium-sized businesses.

Powered by SonicWall technology, the new product will protect thousands of small and medium-sized businesses operating in the UAE and other regions supported by Etisalat Group, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.

"We set out to partner with a company that is as equally dedicated to providing growing businesses with the capability to protect themselves against even the most elusive of threats and have found that in Etisalat Digital,” SonicWall’s president and CEO Bill Conner commented.

Etisalat Digital is offering the SonicWall next-generation firewall with Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite, providing advanced protection and access to the SonicWall Capture Security Center.

"In today's landscape it is imperative that businesses have holistic security programs where modern-day threats are detected and appropriate defence mechanisms are enforced," senior director of security solutions at Etisalat Digital Kamran Ahsan said.
