UAE – Mubasher: The UAE topped the Arab World and was ranked the 25th globally in the global competitiveness index, according to the World Economic Forum’s global competitiveness report for 2019.

The GCC state climbed two positions in the index this year as compared to in 2018, the report indicated.

At the global level, Singapore came in the first place in the global competitiveness index, followed by the US.

It is worth noting that the global competitiveness index evaluates the economies of 141 countries through 103 indicators.
