Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Finance (MoF) denied reports about finalising the draft income tax law, Akhbar El-Yom reported on Thursday.

The ministry affirmed that it is still working on the initial version of the draft law in collaboration with business experts and university professors.

Once drafted, the initial version of the proposed law will be published for discussion before being submitted to the parliament.

About 40% of the terms of the current income tax law have been added to the unified tax law.
