Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has seen a bullish trend this week, following four consecutive weeks of declines.

By the end of the week, the DFM’s general index increased by 1.79% to 2,810.46 points, gaining 49.44 points.

Trading volume jumped to 827.93 million shares this week, versus nearly 314.21 million shares last week.

The exchanged has recorded a weekly turnover of AED 732.22 million, compared to AED 477.4 million in the previous week.

The investment sector added 0.7%, the banks sector rose by 2.4%, and the real estate sector levelled up by 0.96.

Market capitalisation gained AED 6.843 billion and closed the week at AED 371.001 billion.

At the level of stocks' performance this week, Emaar Properties rose by 1.1%, Emirates NBD increased by 1.5%, and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) jumped by 2.3%.
