Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently building 1,016 factories in 10th of Ramadan City at expected investments of EGP 3 billion, the country’s minister of housing Assem El-Gazzar said.

These plant are expected to have an annual production of EGP 8 billion, in addition to creating nearly 87,000 jobs, EL-Gazzar added in a statement on Tuesday.

A total of 340 factories with areas ranging between 2,500 and 43,000 square metres have been allocated, he noted.

Currently, 10th of Ramadan City has 2,997 factories with total investments of EGP 84 billion and annual production of EGP 162 billion.
