Dubai - Mubasher: Arabtec Holding, a leading contractor for social and economic infrastructure, on Tuesday announced that the CEO of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Arabtec Construction, Boyd Merrett has resigned.

Accordingly, the group chief operating officer (COO) Wail Farsakh will be in charge of the CEO’s responsibilities for Arabtec Construction until further notice, according to a press release.

In September, Arabtec Holding announced the appointment of Wail Farsakh as the group's (COO).

Holding a bachelor degree and a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Bradford University, Farsakh has experience of over 33 years in the UAE.
